Preparation
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- 2
Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until fully blended.
- 3
Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.
Cooking
- 4
Heat the Skillet
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with a little butter or cooking spray if desired.
- 5
Cook the Pancakes
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- 6
Serve
Remove the pancakes from the skillet and keep warm. Serve with maple syrup and fresh berries on top.
