Prepare the Chicken Filling

Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them evenly with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

Add Cheese and Jalapeños
In the last minute of grilling, top the chicken with jack cheese and sliced jalapeños. Cover the grill to allow the cheese to melt.

Slice the Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice it into thin strips.
Assemble the Tacos

Prepare the Tortillas
Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, until they are soft and pliable.

Serve the assembled tacos on a plate. Alongside, add a scoop of black beans and a small bowl of fresh salsa for dipping.
