Method

For the Garlic Rice

  1. 1

    Cook the Rice

In a saucepan, combine 4 cups of water and 2 cups of jasmine rice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.

  2. 2

    Prepare Garlic

In a separate skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add 4 tablespoons of minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Combine Garlic with Rice

Once the rice is cooked, add it to the skillet with garlic. Stir to combine and season with 1 teaspoon of salt. Keep warm.

For the Prime Patty

  1. 4

    Form the Patties

In a bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 5

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

For the Mushroom Gravy

  1. 6

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In the same skillet used for the patties, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 8 ounces of sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 7

    Make the Gravy

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour over the mushrooms and stir to combine. Gradually add 1 cup of beef broth and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

For the Fried Eggs

  1. 8

    Fry the Eggs

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Crack 4 eggs into the skillet, cooking them sunny side up or to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
