Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the stuffed mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set them aside for later use.

Filling

  1. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 4

    Chop Mushroom Stems

Finely chop the reserved mushroom stems and add them to the filling mixture. Stir until well combined.

Stuffing & Baking

  1. 5

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a small spoon or a piping bag, fill each mushroom cap generously with the cheese and herb filling.

  2. 6

    Prepare for Baking

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the tops with bread crumbs for added texture.

  3. 7

    Bake the Mushrooms

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.

Serving

  1. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the stuffed mushrooms from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with additional chopped parsley before serving warm.
