    Brew the Espresso

    Use an espresso machine to brew a single shot of espresso.

    Steam the Milk

    Using a steam wand, steam the milk until it reaches a velvety texture and is around 150°F (65°C).

    Combine

    In a small cup, pour the steamed milk over the espresso. The milk should be about equal in volume to the espresso.

    Serve

    Serve immediately and enjoy your cortado.
