Chicken
Method
Marinade Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk together until well combined.
Marinating the Chicken
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the chicken and marinade to a resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
Grilling the Chicken
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-450°F or 190-232°C).
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
- 5
Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
