Main Ingredients

Optional Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade (Optional)

In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, soy sauce, honey, and chopped cilantro. Place the pork chops in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

  2. 2

    Season the Pork Chops

If not marinating, rub the pork chops with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the spices coat both sides evenly.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Pork Chops

Place the pork chops directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 6-8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  3. 5

    Rest the Chops

Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute.
