Cooking Instructions

   Prepare the Patties

   In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the beef into 4 equal patties.

   Cook the Patties

   Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

   Add Cheese

   During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to allow the cheese to melt.

   Prepare the Buns

   While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

   Assemble the Burgers

   On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, sliced tomato, onion, and pickles. Add ketchup and mustard to taste, then top with the other half of the bun.

   Serve

   Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of sides.
