Pasta and Pesto

Method

Preparation

1

Cook the Linguini

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the lemon pepper linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Walnut Basil Pesto

In a food processor, combine basil, walnuts, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Blend until finely chopped. With the processor running, slowly add olive oil until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.

3

Combine Pasta and Pesto

In a large bowl, combine the cooked linguini with the walnut basil pesto. Toss until the pasta is evenly coated.

4

Garnish and Serve

Serve the pesto linguini topped with pickled bruschetta, a drizzle of Aleppo pepper oil, and a sprinkle of herbed gremolata.
