Spare Ribs

    Prepare the Ribs

    Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the spare ribs with dry rub seasoning and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

    Cook the Ribs

    Cover the ribs with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours. Remove the foil, brush with barbecue sauce, and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

Pulled Pork

    Prepare the Pork

    Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker along with apple cider vinegar, chopped onion, and a pinch of salt.

    Cook the Pork

    Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender and easily shredded. Mix in barbecue sauce before serving.

Smokehouse Beans

    Cook the Bacon and Onion

    In a skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.

    Combine and Heat

    In a pot, combine beans, bacon, onion, and barbecue sauce. Stir in mustard. Heat until warmed through.

Mac n Cheese

    Cook the Pasta

    Boil elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

    Make Cheese Sauce

    In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.

    Combine

    Fold the pasta into the cheese sauce until combined. Transfer to a baking dish, top with extra cheese, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.

Cornbread

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

    Mix Wet Ingredients

    In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.

    Combine and Bake

    Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Pour batter into a greased baking dish and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
