Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Rib Tips
Trim any excess fat off the pork rib tips and cut them into manageable pieces if necessary.
- 2
Make the Dry Rub
In a bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and brown sugar. Mix well.
- 3
Season the Rib Tips
Rub the dry mixture generously over the rib tips, ensuring an even coating.
- 4
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F or 150°C).
- 5
Grill the Rib Tips
Place the rib tips on the grill and cook for about 1.5 to 2 hours, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have a smoky flavor.
- 6
Prepare the Barbecue Sauce
In a saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and liquid smoke. Heat over low until warmed through.
- 7
Glaze the Rib Tips
During the last 15 minutes of grilling, brush the barbecue sauce mixture over the rib tips, allowing it to caramelize.
- 8
Serve
Remove the rib tips from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving with extra barbecue sauce.
