Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the spare ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Trim any excess fat.

  2. 2

    Apply the Sauce

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush a generous amount of Maui sticky sauce over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake them in the preheated oven for about 2.5 hours, until they are tender.

  4. 4

    Grill the Ribs

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Transfer the ribs to the grill.

  5. 5

    Glaze and Garnish

Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, basting with additional Maui sticky sauce. Once done, remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the ribs and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
