Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Shred or chop the smoked brisket into smaller pieces. Grate or slice the cheddar cheese.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Sandwich

On one slice of Texas toast, layer a generous amount of smoked brisket, followed by the cheddar cheese. Top with another slice of Texas toast.

  3. 3

    Butter the Bread

Spread butter on the outer sides of both slices of Texas toast.

  4. 4

    Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and grill the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

  5. 5

    Season and Serve

Season the sandwich with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
