Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the spare ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub this mixture all over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Wrap and Bake

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil. Brush the barbecue sauce on both sides of the ribs.

  5. 5

    Finish Cooking

Return the ribs to the oven (uncovered) and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
