Preparation
1. Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients: Paddy's Irish whiskey, Giffard Rhubarbe, ginger beer, and fresh limes.
2. Prepare the Glass
Choose a highball glass or a tall glass. Fill it with ice cubes to chill.
Mixing
3. Pour the Whiskey
Add 2 oz of Paddy's Irish whiskey over the ice in the prepared glass.
4. Add the Liqueur
Next, pour in 1 oz of Giffard Rhubarbe liqueur over the whiskey.
5. Top with Ginger Beer
Slowly pour 4 oz of ginger beer into the glass, allowing it to mix gently with the whiskey and liqueur.
6. Squeeze the Lime
Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from one half into the drink. Stir gently to combine. You can add more lime juice to taste.
Serving
7. Garnish and Serve
Optionally, garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Donkey cocktail!
