Method
Filet Mignon
Prepare the Steaks
Remove the filet mignon steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
Cook the Steaks
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust cooking time for preferred doneness.
Rest the Steaks
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Wash the asparagus spears and trim the tough ends off.
