Method
Prepare the Salmon
- 1
Marinate the Salmon
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Salmon
Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flaky. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before flaking it into bite-sized pieces.
Assemble the Tacos
- 3
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- 4
Build the Tacos
On each tortilla, add a generous portion of flaked salmon, followed by shredded cabbage, chopped cilantro, and slices of avocado. Top with a dollop of sour cream and a drizzle of hot sauce to taste.
- 5
Serve
Serve the tacos immediately while warm, and enjoy your delicious salmon tacos!
