Cooking Instructions
1. Prepare the Steak
Take the A5 Wagyu beef steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat it dry with paper towels.
2. Season the Steak
Generously season both sides of the steak with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
3. Heat the Pan
In a heavy skillet (preferably cast iron), heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it starts to shimmer.
4. Sear the Steak
Add the crushed garlic and rosemary to the pan, then place the steak in the skillet. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for desired doneness.
5. Baste the Steak
While the steak cooks, tilt the pan slightly and use a spoon to baste the steak with the oil and juices from the pan for extra flavor.
