Cake Preparation

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

Mash the Bananas

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Combine Ingredients

Add the vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla, and the dry ingredients to the mashed bananas. Mix until just combined.

Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Ganache Preparation

Heat Cream

In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.

Combine with Chocolate

Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Let sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.

Peanut Butter Crunch Preparation

Mix Crunch Ingredients

In a bowl, combine peanut butter, crushed pretzels, and honey. Mix until well combined.

Assembly

Layer the Cake

Once the cake is completely cool, spread the ganache evenly on top.

Add Crunch

Sprinkle the peanut butter crunch mixture over the ganache.

Serve with Ice Cream

Serve slices of the banana cake with a scoop of Caramilk ice cream on the side.
