Method

Steak Preparation

1

Prepare the Steak

Season the prime striploin steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

2

Cook the Steak

Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time to your preferred doneness. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Hasselback Potatoes

3

Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash the potatoes and slice them thinly, making sure not to cut all the way through, allowing them to fan out.

4

Season and Bake

Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes, rubbing it in, then sprinkle salt, pepper, and rosemary. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until crispy and golden.

Shishito Peppers

5

Cook the Peppers

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shishito peppers and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until blistered. Season with salt to taste.

Cafe de Paris Butter

6

Make the Butter

In a bowl, mix softened unsalted butter with minced garlic, parsley, chives, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Blend until well combined. Chill until firm.
