Method

Infusing the Vodka

  1. 1

    Prepare the Habanero Vodka

Slice the habanero peppers in half lengthwise, removing the seeds if you prefer a milder infusion. Place the sliced habaneros into a clean glass jar and pour the Belvedere Vodka over them. Seal the jar tightly.

  2. 2

    Infusion Time

Allow the vodka to infuse for 24-48 hours at room temperature, tasting periodically until it reaches your desired level of heat.

  3. 3

    Strain the Vodka

Once infused, strain the vodka through a fine mesh strainer to remove the habaneros. Store the infused vodka in a clean bottle.

Making the Cocktail

  1. 4

    Prepare the Ingredients

Cut the fresh pineapple into chunks and measure out 1 cup. Squeeze the juice from fresh limes to get 2 tablespoons of juice.

  2. 5

    Mix the Cocktail

In a shaker, combine the pineapple chunks, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and 2 ounces of the habanero-infused vodka. Muddle the pineapple to release its juice.

  3. 6

    Shake it Up

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

  4. 7

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice.

Garnishing

  1. 8

    Add the Garnish

Garnish the cocktail with a pineapple wedge and a lime wheel on the rim of the glass.
