Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette or Italian bread in half lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Spread the Garlic Butter

Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

  4. 4

    Bake the Bread

Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

  5. 5

    Heat the Marinara Sauce

While the bread is baking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the bread is done baking, remove it from the oven, slice into individual pieces, and serve warm with the marinara sauce on the side.
