Method

Prepare the Dough

  1. 1

    Activate the Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

  4. 4

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare the Toppings

  1. 6

    Chop the Vegetables

Dice the green pepper, onion, roasted red pepper, and tomato. Slice the mushrooms and black olives.

  2. 7

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Assemble the Pizza

  1. 8

    Roll Out the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  2. 9

    Add Sauce and Cheese

Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the surface, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

  3. 10

    Add Vegetables

Evenly distribute the chopped vegetables (green pepper, onion, roasted red pepper, mushrooms, tomato, black olives) over the cheese.

Bake the Pizza

  1. 11

    Bake

Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

  2. 12

    Cool and Serve

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
