Method

Mushroom Preparation

  1. 1

    Sauté Mushrooms

In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Once melted, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are browned and tender, about 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Seasoning

Add minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to the skillet with mushrooms. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.

  3. 3

    Finishing Touch

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in chopped fresh parsley. Set aside.

Burger Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Burgers

In a large bowl, form the ground beef into 4 equal patties. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 5

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the patties.

  3. 6

    Add Cheese

Place 2 oz of Swiss cheese on each patty after flipping and cover with a lid to melt the cheese, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the desired doneness is reached.

  4. 7

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place the cooked patty topped with melted Swiss cheese onto the bottom half of each bun. Generously spoon the sautéed mushroom mixture over the cheese and cover with the top half of the bun.
