Eggs and Meats

Pancakes

Method

Cooking the Meats

  1. 1

    Cook the Sausage Patties

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet, cook the bacon for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the 2 eggs and whisk. In the same skillet, reduce heat to low and pour in the eggs. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges are set, then flip and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.

Making Pancakes

  1. 4

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  2. 5

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, 1 egg, and melted butter.

  3. 6

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

  4. 7

    Cook Pancakes

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Cooking Hashbrowns

  1. 8

    Prepare Hashbrowns

In a skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the frozen hashbrowns, salt, and pepper.

  2. 9

    Cook Hashbrowns

Cook for 5-7 minutes without stirring until crispy and golden, then flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Toasting Bread or Muffin

  1. 10

    Toast

While everything is cooking, toast the bread or English muffin in a toaster until golden brown.

Serving

  1. 11

    Plate the Meal

On a large plate, arrange the cooked eggs, sausage patties, bacon, pancakes, hashbrowns, and the toasted bread or muffin. Serve hot.
