Main Ingredients
Tomato-Mayo-Garlic Sauce
Method
Preparing the Sauce
- 1
Make Tomato-Mayo-Garlic Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 medium diced tomato, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Set aside.
Assembling the Sandwich
- 2
Layer the Ingredients
Take 2 slices of rye bread and spread a generous amount of the tomato-mayo-garlic sauce on one side of each slice. On one slice, layer 4 oz of sliced turkey breast, followed by 4 oz of sliced ham, and then add 4 slices of bacon. Place 1 slice of Swiss cheese and 1 slice of American cheese on top of the bacon. Top with the other slice of rye bread, sauce side down.
Grilling the Sandwich
- 3
Grill the Sandwich
Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium heat. Add a little butter or oil to the grill if desired. Place the assembled sandwich on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted. Press down lightly with a spatula for even grilling.
