Clam Strips

Prepare the Breading Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Coat the Clam Strips
Dip each clam strip first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat them with bread crumbs.

Fry the Clam Strips
In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the coated clam strips in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
French Fries

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips.

Soak the Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Fry the Potatoes
Heat oil in a separate frying pan over medium-high heat. Drain the potatoes and pat dry. Fry the potatoes in batches until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt.
Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth.

Combine the Coleslaw
Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until well coated. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Simply serve the cottage cheese in a bowl as a side option.
