Method

Preparation of Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Stir gently.

  3. 3

    Sweeten Tea

Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to the tea mixture while it is still warm. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  4. 4

    Cool Down

Let the tea steep for about 10-15 minutes until it reaches a deep amber color. Strain the tea to remove the leaves and allow it to cool to room temperature.

Milk Preparation and Serving

  1. 5

    Prepare Milk

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of evaporated milk with 2 tablespoons of condensed milk. Stir until well combined.

  2. 6

    Assemble Drink

Fill a glass with 1 cup of ice cubes. Pour the cooled Thai tea over the ice until the glass is about 2/3 full.

  3. 7

    Add Milk

Top off the iced tea with the prepared milk mixture, allowing it to swirl slightly for an attractive appearance.

  4. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer to mix the milk and tea before drinking.
