Pork Chops

Method

Marinating the Pork Chops

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, honey, oyster sauce, and Japanese BBQ sauce until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chops

Place the pork loin chops in a zip-top bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chops are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for better flavor.

Cooking the Pork Chops

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a skillet over medium heat on the stovetop.

  2. 4

    Cook the Chops

Remove the pork chops from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Grill or pan-sear the chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  3. 5

    Rest the Chops

Once cooked, remove the chops from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.

Preparing the Side Salad

  1. 6

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the pork chops are cooking, wash and chop the salad greens, halving the cherry tomatoes, and slicing the cucumber into rounds.

  2. 7

    Mix the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the salad greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber.

  3. 8

    Dress the Salad

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Serve the marinated pork chops alongside the side salad. Enjoy your Nawa Pork Chops!
