Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4-5 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

Cook Pasta
Add the pasta (8 cups) to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve a small cup of pasta water for later.
Preparing Vegetables

Chop Vegetables
While the pasta is cooking, chop the bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Sauté Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Cherry Tomatoes
Add the cherry tomatoes and sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
Combining Ingredients

Mix Pasta and Vegetables
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together until well combined.

Add Sauce Ingredients
Stir in chopped fresh basil, grated Parmesan cheese, and season with black pepper to taste. If the mixture seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
Serving

Plate the Dish
Serve the Pasta Primavera warm, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
