Wings

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, combine chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and smoked paprika. Toss well to ensure all wings are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Smoker

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) following the manufacturer’s instructions.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Jalapenos

Slice the jalapenos into thin rounds and set aside.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Smoke the Wings

Place the seasoned chicken wings on the smoker rack, ensuring they are spaced out. Smoke the wings for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  2. 5

    Apply BBQ Sauce

During the last 15 minutes of smoking, brush the wings generously with BBQ sauce. Allow the sauce to set and caramelize on the wings.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove wings from the smoker and transfer them to a serving platter. Top with sliced jalapenos for an extra kick. Serve hot with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
