Ribs
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your slow cooker to low. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption. Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar together. Rub this seasoning mix all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Cooking
- 3
Slow Cook the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the ribs are tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bone.
- 4
Glaze with BBQ Sauce
Once the ribs are cooked, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet. Brush the house BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.
- 5
Broil for Finishing Touch
Preheat your oven broiler. Place the baking sheet with the glazed ribs under the broiler for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and slightly caramelized. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
