Burger Patties

Assembly

Method

Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Lemon-Basil Aioli

  1. 4

    Mix Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until smooth and well combined.

  2. 5

    Chill

Cover the aioli and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Toast Burger Buns

Optional: Toast the burger buns on the skillet or grill until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Burgers

Place lettuce on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked turkey patty, a slice of Swiss cheese, a slice of tomato, and any pickles to taste. Spread a generous amount of lemon-basil aioli on the top half of the bun before placing it on top.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the turkey burgers immediately with your favorite sides.
