Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the romaine heart, Roma tomato, and cucumber under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

  2. 2

    Bacon Cooking

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Chop the Vegetables

Cut the romaine heart in half lengthwise to create wedges. Dice the Roma tomato and slice the cucumber in half lengthwise, then slice into half-moon shapes. Thinly slice the red onion.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Salad

On a large plate, place the romaine wedges. Top with diced Roma tomato, cucumber slices, red onion, and crispy bacon pieces.

  2. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the creamy blue cheese dressing over the salad, ensuring even coverage. Finish by drizzling the balsamic glaze on top for extra flavor.
