Prepare the Red Snapper
Pat the red snapper fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and black pepper.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear the Fish
Carefully place the seasoned red snapper fillets in the hot skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on the first side until golden brown and crispy.

Gently flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other side until cooked through and flaky.
