Hot Dogs

Method

Preparation of Hot Dogs

  1. 1

    Cook the Hot Dogs

In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the all-beef hot dogs and cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through. Alternatively, grill the hot dogs for a smoky flavor.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Buns

While the hot dogs are cooking, warm the hot dog buns in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes or wrap them in foil and heat them on the grill until soft.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Hot Dogs

Place each cooked hot dog in a bun. Top with yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, chopped onion, a sprinkle of celery salt, and 2 sport peppers per hot dog.

Preparation of Fries

  1. 4

    Cook the French Fries

If using frozen French fries, follow the package instructions for frying or baking. Usually, this involves preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C) or heating oil in a fryer. Bake or fry the fries until golden brown and crispy, usually around 20-25 minutes.

  2. 5

    Season the Fries

Once cooked, remove the fries from the oven or fryer, and immediately sprinkle with salt to taste while they are still hot.
