Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Ribeye Steak

Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil and season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450-500°F or 232-260°C). Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Grilling the Steak

  1. 3

    Grill the Ribeye

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the hot grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side for medium-rare, then flip and add fresh rosemary on top. Grill for another 4-5 minutes on the second side. Adjust cooking time based on your preferred doneness.

  2. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once grilled to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 5

    Chop the Vegetables

While the steak is resting, slice the zucchini, bell pepper, and carrot into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 6

    Season the Vegetables

In a bowl, toss the chopped vegetables with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Grilling the Vegetables

  1. 7

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the seasoned vegetables in a grill basket or on a piece of aluminum foil. Grill on the side for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are tender and slightly charred.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Slice the rested ribeye steak against the grain and serve alongside the grilled seasonal vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
