Chop Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil
Rinse the fresh basil leaves, chop them coarsely, and add to the bowl with tomatoes.

Prepare Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl.

Season Mixture
Drizzle the olive oil over the tomato-basil mixture, then season with salt and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.

Let It Marinate
Allow the topping to rest for at least 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Toast Bread
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush each slice with olive oil. Toast in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
