Method
Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4-5 quarts of salted water to a boil over high heat.

Cook Rigatoni
Add the rigatoni noodles to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the rigatoni in a colander, reserving a cup of the pasta water.

Mix Pasta with Sauce
Add the drained rigatoni back into the pot, followed by the parmesan cheese. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Alternative Sauce
If using tomato sauce, instead of butter, add the tomato sauce to the drained pasta, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Garlic Mixture
Mince the garlic cloves and mix them with olive oil, chopped parsley, and salt in a small bowl.

Bake Baguette
Place the prepared baguette halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
