Method
Prepare the Grilled Salmon
- 1
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
- 3
Prepare the Jasmine Rice
- 4
Rinse the Rice
In a fine-mesh strainer, rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and helps prevent the rice from being gummy.
- 5
Cook the Rice
In a medium saucepan, combine rinsed jasmine rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for an additional 5 minutes.
Prepare the Fresh Seasonal Vegetables
- 6
Chop the Vegetables
Slice the zucchini, bell pepper, and carrot into bite-sized pieces.
- 7
Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables along with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender yet crisp.
