Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

  2. 2

    Prep the Fruits

Wash the strawberries and blueberries thoroughly. Remove the stems from the strawberries and chop them into halves. Peel and dice the mango into small pieces.

Blending and Freezing

  1. 3

    Blend the Mixture

In a blender, combine the prepared strawberries, mango, blueberries, lemon juice, and the cooled simple syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. 4

    Freeze the Sorbet

Pour the blended fruit mixture into a shallow dish or ice cream maker. If using a dish, place it in the freezer for about 4-6 hours, stirring every hour to break up ice crystals. If using an ice cream maker, churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Sorbet

Scoop the sorbet into serving bowls or glasses. Garnish with fresh fruit or mint leaves if desired. Enjoy your refreshing fruit sorbet!
