Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Espresso

Brew a shot of fresh espresso (1 oz) and let it cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Measure the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, measure and add 2 oz of Ketel One vodka, 1 oz of Kahlúa, 1 oz of Caffè Borghetti, and 1 tsp of cane sugar.

  3. 3

    Combine with Espresso

Add the freshly brewed espresso to the shaker with the other ingredients.

Mixing

  1. 4

    Shake the Cocktail

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  2. 5

    Strain the Mixture

Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled martini glass to remove any ice shards.

Garnishing
