Shrimp Marinade

Method

Shrimp Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat completely. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

Cooking the Shrimp

  1. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are opaque and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assembling the Tacos

  1. 3

    Warm the Tortillas

In a dry skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, until they are pliable.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Tacos

On each tortilla, add a portion of the shredded cabbage, followed by the cooked shrimp. Top with chopped cilantro, avocado slices, and a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
