Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat them dry with paper towels.

Combine the Dry Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

Rub the dry mixture all over the ribs, ensuring to coat both sides evenly.

Bake in the Oven
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender.

While the ribs are baking, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes.
