Method

Nachos Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cheese

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese and Monterey jack cheese.

  2. 2

    Layer the Nachos

Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the chips, followed by jalapeños.

  3. 3

    Bake the Nachos

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Pico de Gallo Preparation

  1. 4

    Chop the Ingredients

Dice the tomatoes and red onion finely. Chop the cilantro and combine all in a bowl.

  2. 5

    Season the Pico de Gallo

Add lime juice and salt to the chopped mixture, and stir to combine. Let it sit for 10 minutes for flavors to meld.

Guacamole Preparation

  1. 6

    Mash the Avocados

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash with a fork until creamy.

  2. 7

    Mix in the Ingredients

Add lime juice, minced garlic, salt, cilantro, and diced tomatoes to the mashed avocado. Stir until well combined.

Serving

  1. 8

    Assemble and Serve

Once the nachos are baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve with pico de gallo and guacamole on the side.
