Soups & Salads

Method

Soups & Salads

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients listed above. Ensure the chicken breasts are thawed if previously frozen.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

In a pot, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and boil them for about 10-12 minutes. Once done, remove them and place them in cold water to stop the cooking process. After they cool, peel the eggs and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat.

  4. 4

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Salad Base

While the chicken is grilling, wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped lettuce in a large salad bowl.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Salad

Chop the grilled chicken, boiled eggs, tomatoes, and avocado into bite-sized pieces. Crumble the blue cheese. Add all these ingredients to the bowl of romaine lettuce, along with the cooked bacon.

  7. 7

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle your choice of dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients well.

  8. 8

    Serve

Serve the Cobb salad immediately in individual bowls, ensuring even distribution of all toppings.
