Crostini Preparation

Slice the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Prepare the Garlic Oil
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Brush and Bake
Brush both sides of each baguette slice with the garlic oil mixture. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crisp.

Blend the Ricotta
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, heavy cream, fresh basil, salt, and black pepper.

Whip Until Smooth
Using a hand mixer or a whisk, blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Prepare the Toppings
Halve the heirloom cherry tomatoes and set aside. Prepare crispy basil by frying fresh basil leaves in a small amount of oil until crisp, then remove them to drain on paper towels.

Spread a generous layer of whipped ricotta on each crostini. Top with halved heirloom cherry tomatoes, crispy basil leaves, and drizzle with strawberry-balsamic glaze.
