Brew the Coffee

Prepare Coffee Grounds
Measure 1 cup of coarse ground coffee and place it in a coffee filter or a French press.

Heat the Water
Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle or on the stovetop until it reaches a rolling boil.

Brew the Coffee
Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds evenly. Allow it to steep for about 4 minutes if using a French press, or follow your drip coffee maker's instructions.

Strain the Coffee
If using a French press, press down the plunger to separate the coffee grounds from the brewed coffee. If using a drip coffee maker, let it complete the brewing process.

Allow the brewed coffee to cool down to room temperature, or place it in the refrigerator for quicker cooling.
Serve Iced

Fill a glass with 2 cups of ice cubes.
