Main Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- 1
Chill the Champagne
Place the bottle of champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is well chilled.
- 2
Juice the Oranges
If using fresh oranges, cut them in half and juice them using a citrus juicer until you have 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain the juice if you prefer a smoother texture.
- 3
Prepare the Glasses
Select your champagne flutes or glasses. If desired, you can chill them in the refrigerator for a short time to keep the mimosa cold longer.
- 4
Mix the Mimosa
In each chilled glass, pour 1 part fresh orange juice and 2 parts champagne or sparkling wine. For example, for a standard serving, pour 1/3 cup of orange juice and 2/3 cup of champagne.
- 5
Garnish
Add an orange slice to the rim of each glass for an attractive garnish, if desired.
