Vodka Base

Apricot Infusion

Method

Prepare the Infusion

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a clean glass jar, combine the dried apricots and granulated sugar. Pour in the vodka, ensuring the apricots are fully submerged. Seal the jar tightly.

  2. 2

    Infuse

Place the jar in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks. Shake the jar gently every few days to help the flavors meld together.

Finalize the Infused Vodka

  1. 3

    Strain the Mixture

After the infusion period, strain the vodka through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean bottle to remove the apricots.

  2. 4

    Sweeten (Optional)

If desired, you can add an additional 250 ml of water with 100 g of sugar dissolved in it to sweeten the vodka further. Mix well and strain again.

  3. 5

    Bottle and Store

Transfer the infused vodka into a decorative bottle. Seal tightly and store in the refrigerator or a cool, dark place.
